The short answer is yes, and here's the catch.

ACE Prep can't take the test for you, and it won't promise you a score. What it does: turn the work you've already done into a number you can trust. Below, every question we get — grouped so you can jump to yours.

Getting it right

Will it actually help me?

It's a knowledge-test weapon, not a replacement for your Part 147 program or practical experience. If you've done the work, this is how you convert it into a passing score — and how you surface the gaps your program left behind.

CAET (ASTM/NCATT) certifies avionics fundamentals — the bench credential. A&P is the FAA Aviation Mechanic certificate: General, Airframe, Powerplant. Same drill engine, different standards. Pick one, or stack both with Everything. See the plans.

No. The loop meets you where you are: it finds what you don't know yet and drills it to solid, one code at a time. Beginners use it to build; people near their test date use it to find blind spots. The adaptive queue makes it the same tool for both.

Written against the current ACS and FAA handbook revisions (H-8083 series), and updated as the FAA revises. Full Program and Everything include updates while you study.

Walking in unsure

The fears techs don't say out loud.

That fear has a real cause: walking in not actually sure what you know. Most prep can't tell you — so your brain fills the silence with worry. The fix is reps that feel like the real test and a readiness number that's earned, not guessed. Familiarity is the antidote to panic. By test day, the format is boring and the codes are known. That said: if test anxiety is severe or persistent — physical symptoms, panic that doesn't ease with preparation — that's worth talking to a doctor or counselor about. A study tool is not medical advice, and there's no shame in getting real support.

Yes — and now you have data most people don't: you know roughly where it went wrong. The loop diagnoses every miss to its knowledge code, so the retake isn't a re-run of the same blind guessing. You attack the gaps, not the whole bank again.

Your Knowledge Code Report marks every ACS code SOLID or REVIEW. When the report's green and the readiness estimate is high, booking the test is a decision, not a gamble. It's an estimate — but it's an instrumented one, not a feeling.

Then the report tells you before you walk in and waste the fee. It shows exactly which codes are still REVIEW so you can drill them — or move the date with eyes open. Better to know now than at the testing center.

The enemy was never the question bank. It's walking in unsure. Trade the guessing for an instrument and the fear has nothing left to feed on.

One test or one CAET module: Single Track, $49. The full A&P or full CAET program: Full Program, $99. Both certificates back to back: Everything, $149. Start free first — decide after you've felt the loop. Compare them on the pricing page.

Yes — drills are built for ten-minute sessions on a phone, in the truck or on the bench. Your queue and mastery sync, so the question you miss at lunch comes back tonight.

Every question is written and reviewed by working avionics instructors and cited to its FAA source — H-8083 handbooks, chapter and section. If a question wouldn't survive the shop floor, it doesn't ship. You're studying the source, not someone's summary.

No — and anyone who promises that is selling you something. Readiness is an estimate built from your mastery per code. It tells you when the odds are in your favor. The only guarantee we make is the 14-day money-back one.
